Following the recent fire incident at salon BECK, I’ve made the decision to listen to my body and begin my maternity leave early, starting today. 9/9/26. While the timing was unexpected, shifting my focus toward resting up and preparing to welcome our newest addition feels like the right thing for me and my family as I navigate our newest challenge of creating a space for when I return.

While I’m away resting and soaking up this chapter, your hair remains my top priority—I will be providing trusted, hand-selected recommendations who can seamlessly care for your precision cuts, custom color, and extension maintenance in the meantime, For many of you, we have already discussed my personal recommendation of who will be serving you while i’m away, but if we have yet to connect about this or if you need more information, i’m a text away. You know that I truly care and love each and every one of you, and care about you more than just as your hairstylist.

This is simply a temporary pause on my chair, and I am so looking forward to welcoming you back into my space with fresh energy early next year. I am planning to return sometime near the end of February. I will post updates here.

In the early morning hours of September 7, a fire occurred inside Salon BECK. Thankfully, no one was inside at the time and everyone is safe.

While the fire was contained, our salon sustained significant fire, smoke, soot, and water damage. For the safety of our team and clients, our space is currently closed while we work with building management, insurance, and the appropriate professionals to understand the full extent of the damage and what restoration will look like.

In the meantime, we are actively exploring a temporary Salon BECK location in Portland so that our team can return to work and welcome clients again as soon as possible.
